Well, where did the summer go and how are we already halfway through October? Needless to say, my summer was a productive summer with lots of landscape photography adventures.

But really, today I wanted to talk about making sure you take the time for yourself. When life gets busy, it can sometimes be hard to slow down and take time for yourself. My YouTube video that posted yesterday, I really tried to harness a state of Peaceful Solitude. I filmed this video on Sunday morning at a nearby waterfall.

Should I go back to XZY location or should I explore a new place today? It is a question that we have undoubtedly asked ourselves at some point as landscape photographers. There is nothing like the feeling you get when you explore a place for the first time. Sometimes it may be a destination that is once in a lifetime and other times it could be a few hours’ drive from home.

It has been almost a month since I launched my YouTube channel. It has been amazing having this additional creative outlet, but I will admit it is time consuming. I have posted five videos thus far and one of my best performing videos so far is my video on my new HP U28 4k HDR monitor, which by the way it is amazing!
