Should I go back to XZY location or should I explore a new place today? It is a question that we have undoubtedly asked ourselves at some point as landscape photographers. There is nothing like the feeling you get when you explore a place for the first time. Sometimes it may be a destination that is once in a lifetime and other times it could be a few hours’ drive from home.

I started a YouTube channel! This is definitely towards the top of the list of things I have done outside my comfort zone and something I never thought I would do. So, why did I decide to start a channel? Well after watching numerous photography YouTube videos over the course of the pandemic, I was left thinking, “I can do that”. I also realized that I really LOVE this other layer of creativity that comes with creating videos.

For several years now, I have floated around the idea of becoming a professional photographer, but just never quite take those first steps. In part because I didn’t know what kind of photography I would want to do. I have photographed engagement photos, a couple weddings, senior portraits, and family photos, but what I really love is being out in nature and exploring the world around me. It was this that ultimately led me to venture into being a professional nature and landscape photographer.
